Welcome to Resources for Farmers' Markets Markets help to build connections in our communities, functioning as bridges between urban and rural landscapes, letting consumers connect with their food producers, and introducing people to a diversity of fresh foods that cannot be found elsewhere. Federal farmers’ market nutrition programs aim to increase the access to these fresh, healthy foods for low-income mothers, children, and to senior citizens. As a result, many farmers and community members alike are more aware of the food needs in their communities. We hope this site serves as yet one more connection between those interested in farmers’ markets. On this site, you can find your nearest farmers’ market. Farmers’ can find their market or list a new market here. We even have space to set up a Market Vendor Profile with pictures of products, product description and prices. From here you can learn more about farmers’ markets, read about markets in the press, see how other markets have organized, look up policies that affect markets, or find up-to-date research. For more information on how to update your products if you are a market vendor or market manager please visit the link for manager or vendor login or contact us.
